Introduction

Hey all!

I'm Melanei (28) and my husband is Harold (28) and we have been married for 3 1/2 years. We are starting this blog as we begin our adoption journey. I feel like this journey found us before we found it and God has his hand in it! We have one biological son (Tre') who will be 3 in a few weeks. Last year in January we decided we were ready to have another child and found out in February we were pregnant! ON April 10th at 11 weeks I went to the doctor and the baby had no heartbeat. We were devastated and that is by far the hardest thing I have been through in my life. We mourned the loss of this child and decided we were ready to try again. But this time it was different. I couldn't get pregnant and I started having some (female) issues. We went to a fertility doctor. Under went some tests and started some fertility treatements. I ev en had surgery in JAnuary to remove blockage of one of my tubes. I started having VERy bad hot flashes and night sweats I told my doctor and he took blood and ran an FSH onme. Well to make a long story short I'm in premature menopause! it was hard to take because I'm so young but we have finally come to terms with it and have decided that adoption is what we want to do. It's something we have always talked about doing after we had our own children and God has decided that we are finished and THIS is our journey. I'm not writing our life story God is and it is our fate and that is something you can't run from. So we have decided on an agency and are starting our process. More to come!
